Dan Tysk Offshore Substation Leaves Strukton Hollandia Yard

Dan Tysk Offshore substation and jacket has left the Strukton Hollandia yard and is currently passing Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The substation is headed 70km offshore, to the location west of the Island of Sylt, where it will form the heart of the DanTysk wind park.

The jacket will provide a platform for the 155/33-kilovolt substation 45m above the seabed in a water depth of 26m.

Inter array cable laying activities have also started with the first array cable installed in the second week of July.
