PSA Carries Out Audit of Statoil Development and Production Norway

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) carried out an audit of Statoil Development and Production Norway’s (DPN’s) follow-up and monitoring during the period 20 February – 10 April 2013.

The audit activity was limited to verifying how Statoil DPN Operations West, through its own follow-up, maintains an overview of and handles risk related to how the company adapts the activity level to available resources, with special emphasis on the activity level on Gullfaks.

 Objective

The objective of the audit activity is to follow up that Statoil DPN’s planning, implementation and improvement of follow-up activities, related to the activity level and resources, comply with regulatory requirements.

 Result

No nonconformities or improvement items were identified.
