Installation of Offshore Met Mast

Humber Gateway offshore wind farm, located 8km off the East Yorkshire coast, just north of the mouth of the river Humber, will have 73 turbines and together the turbines will have an installed capacity of up to 219MW, which is enough electricity to power up to 170,000 UK homes – more than one and a half times the number of homes in Hull.

Construction on E.ON’s Humber Gateway is well underway, with first foundations expected this summer, and completion due in 2015.

Seawind, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rame Energy, designed and installed an offshore met mast at the Humber Gateway in 2009.
