Repeat Order from G&G International to Pemamek

A successful delivery of PEMA Windmill Tower Sections Assembly Lines of last year is now followed by an order for PEMA Offshore Foundation Welding Line. The previously delivered versatile PEMA assembly line has been in heavy use also in welding pressure vessels and extremely heavy jack-up legs.

A new outcome of co-operation between G & G International and Pemamek is the recent contract for delivering a complete outside welding station for heavy weight offshore structures to G&G. This welding station with earlier delivered assembly stations complies the full offshore foundation production line with latest technology of welding and material handling.

The new order comprises of a 300 tons roller bed line with anti-creep function and outside welding platform with two submerged arc welding heads. Pemamek is using advanced welding solutions and control technology in the station. Lincoln Electric Power Wave technology combined with a laser based adaptive seam tracking and intelligent control system gives outstanding performance for thick material welding. The platform is capable of welding two seams simultaneously with semi-narrow gap joints.

We continue to work with PEMAMEK for their most qualified and technically advanced solutions for our purposes,CEO, Mr. Patrick van Melis of G&G International BV states and continues: “PEMA’s project management and customer-oriented approach to solve our challenges has been to our satisfaction.

G&G has entered the offshore wind market with successful delivery of foundations to Riffgat Wind Farm and is currently producing foundations to Northwind Wind Farm. New production capacity further strengthens G&G’s position in offshore foundation market and makes it possible to fulfill major orders also in the future.
