World Marine Offshore to Provide Crew Transfer Vessel for Vattenfall

World Marine Offshore has been awarded one boat contract by Vattenfall, one of the Major Energy supplieres in Northen Europe, to provide Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV) to DanTysk Windpark, offshore Denmark.

The contract has been awarded for 19 Months with possible for extension. Vattenfall has chosen to take the first of four 24m WS vessels.

“With Vattenfalls belief in our concept World Marine Offshore will show that the Windserver vessels which have seaworthiness of larger vessels and higher performance can perform in such exposed areas,” said the company in a statement.

Holger Grubel, Vattenfall Project Director of DanTysk said:  ”We are glad to have found an international experienced company with an outstanding offshore expertise and fleet to support us on our next big offshore projekt DanTysk and will rely on them transporting our people safely. “

World Marine Offshore MD Peter Lykke-Kjeldsen said: ” The relationship with Vattenfall is grown by this contract. Winning this contract shows that, our believe in vessels, build with focus on innovation, fuel efficiency and high performance is the way forward”.
