CWind Appoints New Fleet Manager

CWind, which provides crew vessel and workboat services as well as construction, repair and service jobs to the offshore wind sector has confirmed that Ralph Jensen has joined the company as Fleet Manager to look after CWind’s expanding operations in UK and Northern Europe.

Peter Jorgensen, Managing Director of CWind said, “We are delighted to welcome Ralph Jensen aboard. He has a wealth of experience in the maritime industry, which will be invaluable in helping us manage both our growing fleet and meet the commercial needs of the UK and German offshore wind sector.”.

Ralph has over 30 years’ experience in vessel management and excellent connection in Europe’s offshore wind industry. He will be working from both the UK and Germany. He will be taking a key role in managing CWind’s fleet with immediate effect.

CWind has an expanding fleet of fast, very versatile, large payload and very fuel efficient vessels. CWind offers an excellent back up, support and operations system including a robust SHEQ management system. Skippers are experienced and committed as they are also co-owners, known as boat share partners. This approach means that CWind workboats provide a high quality service.

In addition CWind has project management experience and a team of highly skilled technicians able to work on a broad range of projects for the offshore wind sector both in the construction and operations and maintenance phases. Currently deployed already on seven windfarms, Ralph will have access to work with these teams, as required on the particular projects.
