ConocoPhillips to Use Maersk Gallant at Ebba and Tjalve Wells

The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has given consent to ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS for use of the harsh environment jack-up drilling rig Mærsk Gallant. 

The consent applies to permanent plugging and abandonment of the wells Ebba 2/7-31 and Tjalve 2/4-17.

The wells are a part of production licence 018, and are located in the southern part of the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.  The work will be carried out in 2012, and is expected to last for 33 days.
