TQC Publishes Paint Inspector’s Field Guide

The Paint Inspector’s Field Guide, also known as PIFG, contains a wide range of technical information about protective coating inspection as well as visual examples of physical inspections in process, and a review of the technical content of industry recognised standards.

It is based on a wealth of experience and offers significant guidance, and assistance to anyone interested in the inspection of protective coatings application.

 Improved coating lifespan

The book was developed primarily to address the fact, well known and acknowledged in the painting and coating industry, that the lifespan of any protective coating system is greatly improved with the exercise of a suitable standard of adequate quality control and inspection before, during and after the surface preparation and application stages of a painting project.
