Bluestream Offshore Wins Total E&P IRM Contract

For the second consecutive year Bluestream has been awarded the yearly inspection program of 21 platforms and 10 subsea domes in the Dutch sector of Total E&P Nederland B.V.

This yearly campaign consists of 3 major phases. All work will be conducted from DSV VOS Shelter. The VOS Shelter was mobilized in March for the first campaign.

For the first campaign a diving together with a rope access team have been mobilized to execute eddy current testing’s, ultrasonic wall thickness readings, close visual Inspections and integrity verifications. The second campaign will consist of ROV inspections and is merely focused on surveys, marine growth measurements and floating member detections. The third campaign again is mainly focused on diving operations and is scheduled direct after the ROV campaign . In addition to this year’s workscope the reconditioning of several fenders has been added.

Together with the inspection program awarded by a fellow operator, this inspection program marks Bluestream’s growth in the IRM market. Bluestream is heavily investing in qualified project engineering personnel and its equipment to be able to serve her clients to their expectations and maintain a high standard on both quality and safety during the execution of the operations.
