Aberdeen Prepares for Offshore Wind & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition (UK)

Aberdeen will host the Offshore Wind & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition for the second time.

With over 50 exhibiting organizations, the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) expects to welcome 500 delegates from across the sector, including its supply chain and supporting agencies, which make this the Scotland’s biggest, best and most important offshore wind event.

This year’s Scottish Offshore Wind Conference will debate, discuss and define the way forward in the key decisions around our energy mix:

  • Cutting costs and affordability
  • Attracting capital and the impact of market reform
  • Closing the supply chain gap
  • Consenting projects and environmental sustainability
  • Connecting to the grid
  • Technological innovation

The event which will be held from 31 January to 1 February 2012 will be opened by Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond.
