Seaports of Niedersachsen Presented at EWEA Offshore

EWEA Offshore Event ended on Thursday. Seaports of Niedersachen has presented excellent conditions in the Lower Saxon seaports for production, assembly and handling of offshore wind energy facilities and the services. Many industry representatives showed great interest in port services and capacities.

More than 7,000 visitors attended the trade fair of EWEA offshore,which  was held from 29 November to 1 December  in Amsterdam. The fair is one of the most important venues in the industry. Several officials from the seaports of Lower Saxony visited the stand of the port marketing company Seaports of Niedersachsen to exchange information with wind energy decision-makers and put it in front of their extensive logistics and support services for the wind energy industry.

Seaports of Niedersachsen apply with their existing infrastructures and superstructures as the leading base ports in Germany for the establishment and supply of offshore wind farms in the North Sea. Many visitors reflected on the excellent reputation the Lower Saxon seaports have acquired for their logistic and service capabilities in the offshore industry.

We are here, including industry representatives from Great Britain, continental Europe, Asia and the U.S.who are involved in important decision-making processes in the awarding of contracts of the wind energy companies and they are very interested in our ports. In the upcoming year  we will continue our active offers to the market and our skills further offshore.We are very confident that the services in several areas of our ports for industrial estates will soon be used by the industry as production facilities, “concluded Andrew Bullwinkel, Director of the Seaports of Niedersachsen GmbH.
