Princess Máxima to Open New Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group Head Office on September 12

Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands will open the new Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group head office on Monday, 12th of September, in Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands.

The new head office is situated on the Swinhaven site near the ‘Oude Maas’ river. The design and materials are inspired by the environment; water, reeds and the adjacent river landscape. By using energy-saving measures, solar and wind energy and heat and cold storage, the office is energy efficient. After performing the opening ceremony, Princess Máxima will be offered a tour of the new office and storage area.

The Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group was founded in 1924. From a one-man operation the company has grown into an organization with forty branches across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, Asia and North America. The international trading company supplies steel pipes and tubes and tube products to virtually all industrial sectors.
