Cutting operation Tricolor resumed

On Monday morning, at 08.15 a.m., the salvage team resumed work on the eighth and final cut of the TRICOLOR. Due to unfavourable weather conditions the salvage operation has been halted for more than a week. Last week, several vessels participating in the salvage operation were called back to port. Swells up to more than five meters made the operation too dangerous to continue. The eighth cut was halted at the moment the cutting wire was halfway through the sections eight and nine.
