Denmark to Postpone Power Production from Two Offshore Wind Farms

The Danish Ministry of Climate and Energy issued a document today, which unveils the Government’s plans to postpone electricity production from 600MWKriegers Flak and 400MW Horns Rev offshore wind farms, so they would start operating in 2018, Bloomberg reports.

At this time, the country has four offshore wind farms at Horns Rev and Roedsand, while the fifth one is being built by DONG Energy.

The document, published on the Ministry’s website, presents the Government’s proposal on strategy for photovoltaic and other small renewable energy sources.
